Basic human rights are under threat! Training for civil society organizations: Political versus Party action

In the period from October 24th to 26th, 2023, in H. Glorious in Veles, the fifth training for representatives of women’s civil society organizations and young activists was organized on the topic: “Party versus political action”.

This training was of critical importance at a time when basic human rights are under threat. During the three days, the participants considered the challenges in political action and the ways in which civil society organizations and political parties can cooperate to protect these rights. This training not only made the participants aware of the problems created by political and party interests, but they also learned new strategies and solutions in their actions.

We also had practical exercises and group work, which reinforced the practical application of the knowledge and skills we acquired. This interactive methodology not only contributed to a better understanding of the challenges in political action, but also enabled the practical application of the strategies and solutions we developed. During the training, the participants had the opportunity to share ideas, discuss and develop practical plans for the protection of basic human rights. This combination of theory and practice has prepared us with concrete tools and skills to be able to deal with the challenges created by political and party interests.

This activity is supported by the Swedish Foundation Kvinna till Kvinna.
