Within the framework of the Women’s Support Centers in Skopje and Tetovo, since their opening, the service for career counseling and trainings and workshops for economic strengthening and soft skills has been provided to the users of the centers.
In the first half of 2022, apart from the individual sessions for career counseling, 17 trainings were conducted for 94 women from Skopje and 10 trainings for 15 women from Tetovo. The trainings were on different topics, which were organized in cycles of workshops from related fields.
The first cycle of workshops was about Personal Growth and Development and consisted of 3 workshops on the following topics: self-awareness, communication and effective communication with others. These workshops were conducted in Skopje, where the facilitator was career counselor Katerina Zlatanovska Popova. The next cycle for Personal growth and development was conducted in Tetovo and was led by psychologists Sema Halili and Biljana Radichevska, and consisted of the following topics: self-awareness, partner relationship styles, self-sabotage, self-support and self-confidence.
Furthermore, several Professional Development trainings were organized by career counselor Katerina Zlatanovska Popova, which covered the following topics: adaptability and coping with changes, emotional intelligence and female entrepreneurship. A new series of workshops on Personal Growth and Development on the aforementioned topics was also organized again for new participants.
In the further work, trainings on Critical thinking and problem solving were also organized.
These activities were carried out with the support of the Balkan Trust for Democracy and the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.
