On 17 April 2026, the 14th Annual Assembly of the National Network to End Violence against Women and Domestic Violence was held. The Assembly was attended by representatives and legal representatives of 16 member organisations.
During the Assembly, Executive Director Elena Dimushevska presented the 2025 Annual Narrative Report. The report was unanimously adopted by the member organisations present. During the discussion, it was noted that significant results had been achieved over the past year, particularly through the work of the counselling centres, the outreach to service users, and the number of services provided. The need to communicate these results appropriately to the public was also highlighted, in order to demonstrate the impact that the Network has within the support and protection system.
The 2025 Annual Financial Report was also presented at the Assembly and was unanimously adopted. The member organisations reviewed and adopted new internal documents aimed at further strengthening the Network’s organisational structure, transparency and ethical operations. The Financial and Administrative Rulebook and the Policy for Ensuring Protection, Safety and Ethical Conduct were adopted.
The Assembly also adopted statutory amendments aimed at simplifying and strengthening the organisation’s internal governance. In addition, the member organisations were informed that the Management Board had prepared and adopted its Rules of Procedure, which will regulate its future work.
The 2026 Work Plan was also presented, covering ongoing projects, planned activities and submitted project initiatives. Additionally, the process for developing a new five-year Strategic Plan of the Network was announced, to be implemented within the framework of the project cooperation with Kvinna till Kvinna.
The Annual Assembly represents an important space for joint information-sharing, decision-making and defining the directions for the Network’s future work. Through the active participation of its member organisations, the National Network continues to strengthen its role as a platform for coordinated action, advocacy and improvement of the system for prevention and protection from violence against women and domestic violence.
