Workshop to strengthen intersectoral cooperation of institutions in dealing with women victims of violence in the North-Eastern region

The National Network to End Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence in cooperation with the Humanitarian Association “Majka” and the Association “National Roma Centrum” held a two-day workshop with representatives from the Centers for Social Work in the North-East Region, representatives of SIA Kumanovo and Kriva Palanka and representatives from the General Hospital Kumanovo with the aim of strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation in their dealings in the field with the cases of women victims of gender-based and family violence.

The participants shared their experiences, problems and challenges they face and had the opportunity to learn about the forms of violence and services for help, support and reintegration of women victims of violence.

This activity is carried out within the framework of “Institutionalization of quality services for the rehabilitation and reintegration of women victims of violence”, supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), which is implemented by the “Mother” Association and “Advocacy for the provision of specialized services for help and support for women and children victims of gender-based and family violence” implemented by the National Roma Center with the support of The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
