From the 3rd to the 5th of June at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, an international scientific conference was held under the title “New horizons in psychological science and practice”, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
The executive director of the National Network, Elena Dimushevska, was one of the speakers on the first day in the session “The well-being and mental health of children and adolescents. In her presentation, Dimushevska presented the findings and recommendations of the Mapping of existing services for the mental health care of children, adolescents and young people in North Macedonia. This research was carried out in cooperation with the UNICEF office and includes a detailed review of social services intended for children and adolescents in North Macedonia, with special reference to mental health and psychosocial support for children and adolescents.
