Center for Assistance and Support for Women Victims of Gender-Based and Domestic Violence, ‘There is Help’ – ISI ARKA.
At the local level, since September 2023, a Center for Assistance and Support for Women Victims of Gender-Based and Domestic Violence “Ima pomosh” – ISI ARKA has been opened in the municipality of Šuto Orizari. This is the first and only center that offers services for victims of gender-based and domestic violence in the Romani and Macedonian languages. In some situations, this is a prerequisite for encouraging women to contact the Center.
The “ISI ARKA” Center offers psychosocial services and support to women victims of domestic and gender-based violence.
The Women’s Rights initiative from Shuto Orizari, through the Center for Assistance and Support for Women Victims of Domestic Violence, has signed 10 memorandums of cooperation with: the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Municipality of Shuto Orizari, a kindergarten, and non-governmental organizations.
