On February 1st, the team of the National Network team organized a work meeting with 8 local women civil society organizations which will advocate for the establishment of reintegration services for women victims of domestic violence in 8 cities in North Macedonia. All 8 organizations are sub-grantees in the sub-granting process implemented by the National Network within the project “Institutionalization of quality services for rehabilitation and integration of victims of violence”, supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
During the meeting, the first activities were agreed, which will be implemented locally in each city, but also, we agreed on next steps in the following 6 months. Subgrantees agreed on mutual cooperation during their project, but also on cooperation with the Executive Office of the National network. Also, we prepared work plans with time frame and performance indicators. All 8 organizations started with a local Assessment of the needs of women victims of domestic violence who left the violent surrounding, after which according to the findings of the assessment they will prepare recommendations for establishing reintegration services at the local level and will later advocate with the local institutions on this topic.
