As part of a series of trainings for service providers in counseling centers for women and children victims of gender-based and domestic violence, on July 16 and 17, 2022, we held the last 5th training in which service providers from Skopje, Tetovo, Bitola, Kavadarci, Veles, Kumanovo and Radovish participated.
At this training, the participants upgraded their knowledge on legislation and practical application of the laws for the protection and support of women victims of GBV and DV, as well as the actions of the institutions when reporting a case of GBV and DV by the victims.
In addition, work with child victims of GBV and DV was covered, as well as the processing of multiple case studies through case-handling role plays. The last training gave the participants the opportunity to learn something more about the boundaries between professional and private life, after which followed a round up of all 5 trainings that were conducted in 2020 and 2021.
This activity is part of the project “Counseling Centers for Women and Children Victims of RBN and SN”, financially supported by the Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Royal Embassy of Norway in Belgrade.
