{"id":11250,"date":"2021-01-21T15:07:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T14:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/bazichna-studija-za-zadovolstvoto-na-zheni-zhrtvi-na-rbn-i-sn-kako-korisnichki-na-uslugi-vo-tssr\/"},"modified":"2023-03-07T13:18:22","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T12:18:22","slug":"bazichna-studija-za-zadovolstvoto-na-zheni-zhrtvi-na-rbn-i-sn-kako-korisnichki-na-uslugi-vo-tssr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/en\/bazichna-studija-za-zadovolstvoto-na-zheni-zhrtvi-na-rbn-i-sn-kako-korisnichki-na-uslugi-vo-tssr\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic survey on the satisfaction of women victims of GBV and DV as beneficiaries of services in the CSW"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During 2020\u0433. <strong>National Network against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence published a <a href=\"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/NN_Baseline-study-report-on-measuring-satisfaction-of-the-beneficiaries-with-services-received-in-CSW-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Basic Survey on the Satisfaction of Women Victims of Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence as Beneficiaries of the Services in the Centres for Social Work&#8221;.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The survey was based on data collected in the period May &#8211; November 2020 and included 10 local Centres for Social Work (CSWs)<\/strong> and 68 beneficiaries (women victims of GBV and DV.) Additionally, the survey included 8 different specialized services run by WCSOs where these women received help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the survey was to assess the satisfaction of women victims of violence as users of general and specialized services, with a focus on services provided by CSWs at the local level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main finding of the study is that 35% of the women victims who received service in CSWs were dissatisfied and 34% were slightly satisfied. The remaining 31% said they were satisfied. The remaining 31% said they were satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/satisfaction.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/satisfaction.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12699\" width=\"464\" height=\"251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/satisfaction.png 928w, https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/satisfaction-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/glasprotivnasilstvo.org.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/satisfaction-768x415.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 464px) 100vw, 464px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the satisfaction from using specialized services in the WCSOs, 80% of the surveyed users were satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The conclusions of the survey indicate that local CSWs have several shortcomings in their actions, which resulted in poor protection of those who sought help and low satisfaction with the services received.<\/strong> Namely, CSWs usually did not make an adequate risk assessment, nor did they develop individual work plans for working with the users. The treatment was generally the same or similar for most users, i.e. the individual approach was not applied to each woman with a focus on her specific needs. Due to the inadequate assessment and the lack of an individual work plan, the next steps in providing support for the users were inappropriate and not timely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study provides several recommendations for improving the work of the Centers for Social Work in North Macedonia, which should be in accordance with the provisions of the Istanbul Convention and the Law on Prevention and Protection from Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. The recommendations generally refer to the increase of human resources in social work centers, their regular and continuous upgrading through trainings on relevant topics, especially on forms of violence and reintegration of victims of violence.
